Why Choose TONFUL Cable Ties

100% Virgin Nylon 66

Cheap cable ties use recycled scrap plastic, causing them to snap easily during installation or in cold weather. TONFUL exclusively uses premium 100% virgin Nylon 66. This ensures maximum flexibility, superior toughness, and reliable locking without brittle breakage.

Exceptional Tensile Strength

Our injection molding process creates deeply pronounced teeth and a robust locking pawl. Once zipped, a TONFUL cable tie bites down hard and will not slip or loosen, safely securing heavy cable bundles under severe mechanical stress and vibration.

UV Weather Resistance for Outdoors

Standard white cable ties degrade and crack when exposed to sunlight. Our UV-Resistant Black cable ties are specifically formulated with carbon black additives, providing excellent UV protection and prolonged lifespan for outdoor solar, telecom, and agricultural projects.

Extreme Temperature Solutions

For environments where nylon melts or burns—such as engine compartments, chemical plants, or marine exhausts—we offer premium 304 and 316 Stainless Steel Cable Ties. Featuring a secure roller-ball locking mechanism, they withstand temperatures up to +538°C and severe corrosion.

Versatile Functional Designs

We don't just make standard ties. Our product line includes Releasable Ties (reusable for temporary holds), Marker Ties (with a blank tag for writing IDs), and Push-Mount/Screw-Mount Ties (for securing bundles directly to chassis panels or walls).

Massive Capacity & OEM Packaging

With fully automated injection molding lines, we produce millions of cable ties daily. We support global B2B clients with bulk wholesale pricing, and offer extensive OEM services including custom colors, specific lengths, and branded retail packaging (printed polybags and header cards).

Professional Selection Guide

Step 1: Determine the Material based on Environment

For general indoor use, Natural Nylon 66 is perfect. For outdoor applications exposed to sunlight, strictly specify UV Black Nylon. For extreme heat, harsh chemicals, or underground burial, select 304 or 316 Stainless Steel.

Step 2: Calculate the Bundle Diameter

Measure the total diameter of the cables you need to bundle. The cable tie length must be significantly longer than the circumference of the bundle to allow the tail to pass through the locking head comfortably.

Step 3: Select the Required Tensile Strength

Match the tie's width and strength to your load. Use Miniature (18 lbs / 2.5mm width) for delicate electronics, Standard (50 lbs / 4.8mm width) for most household/auto uses, and Heavy-Duty (120+ lbs / 7.6mm+ width) for securing heavy industrial pipes or thick power cables.

Step 4: Choose the Functional Type

Do you need to add wires later? Choose a Releasable tie. Do you need to label the cables? Choose a Marker tie. Do you need to anchor the bundle to a wall or metal panel? Choose a Mountable tie.

Step 5: Consider Cold Weather Installation

If your technicians are installing nylon cable ties in freezing winter temperatures, the plastic naturally loses moisture and becomes stiffer. TONFUL's virgin nylon mitigates this, but for extreme sub-zero installations, consult us for specialized winter-grade formulations.

Step 6: Plan Your Packaging & Volume

Determine how your assembly line or retail store uses them. We offer bulk bags (1,000 pcs) to save costs for factories, standard bags (100 pcs) for contractors, and custom branded retail packs for distributors.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have compiled some common questions from our clients. If your question isn’t included here, our customer service is always available to help. We’d love to talk with you.

Q1: What is the difference between Natural (White) and Black cable ties?

Natural (clear/white) ties are standard Nylon 66, ideal for indoor applications. Black ties are typically formulated with carbon black, which acts as a UV inhibitor. This allows the black ties to withstand prolonged exposure to direct sunlight outdoors without becoming brittle and snapping.

Q2: Why do some cheap cable ties break easily when I bend them?

Cable ties that snap easily are usually made from regrind (recycled) plastic or have lost their moisture content. TONFUL uses 100% virgin Nylon 66, which retains optimal flexibility and toughness, drastically reducing the risk of brittle breakage during installation.

Q3: Can I reuse a standard cable tie?

Standard self-locking cable ties are designed for single-use permanent fastening; you must cut them to remove them. If you need to frequently add or remove wires from a bundle, you should purchase our Releasable Cable Ties, which feature a small trigger to release the locking pawl.

Q4: When should I use Stainless Steel cable ties instead of Nylon?

You should upgrade to Stainless Steel when the environment exceeds the melting point of nylon (above 85°C/105°C), such as near engines or furnaces. They are also mandatory in highly corrosive environments (like chemical plants), marine applications, or where extreme mechanical strength is required.

Q5: Does TONFUL offer custom OEM packaging for distributors?

Yes! As a source manufacturer, we offer extensive OEM services. We can package the cable ties in custom quantities (e.g., 50pcs, 100pcs, 250pcs per bag), print your company logo and barcodes directly on the polybags, or attach custom cardboard header tags for retail display.
