Can a copper cable cutter cut steel wire rope?
Not by default. Many supplied models explicitly prohibit steel and wire rope. Use only a model documented for the exact rope or strand construction.
What is the difference between mm² and mm?
mm² describes cross-sectional area; mm describes a diameter or a length. Provide both cable outside diameter and conductor cross-section where available.
Which models are listed for armored cable?
J75, J95, J100 and J130 list model-specific armored cable limits. Armor construction and the core arrangement must still be confirmed.
Does a yellow or orange handle mean the tool is insulated?
No. Handle appearance does not establish electrical insulation or a live-working rating. Request the required model documentation.
How are conflicting catalogue details handled?
