Medium Set-Screw Connector with Adhesive-Lined Heat Shrink
TF90335 is a medium heat-shrink wire connector for low-voltage landscape-lighting and outdoor copper-wire assemblies. A brass lug with two brass set screws establishes the mechanical connection. An adhesive-lined polyolefin heat-shrink sleeve then covers and insulates the finished joint.
This compact, straight connection format is intended for installers, distributors and OEM buyers evaluating conductor fit, electrical load, environment and packaging as a complete system.

Current Rating by Conductor Size
Current capacity changes with conductor size. Use this reference table together with a complete TF90335 application review. A maximum AWG range does not establish every possible multi-wire combination.
| Conductor | 18 AWG | 16 AWG | 14 AWG | 12 AWG | 10 AWG | 8 AWG |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Maximum current | 10 A | 13 A | 18 A | 25 A | 25 A | 25 A |
Applications
- Low-voltage landscape-lighting cable connections
- Path, garden and architectural-lighting wiring
- Outdoor copper-wire splice assemblies
- OEM lighting kits that require a compact, straight connection
- Buried outdoor connections after the exact assembly and installation method have been validated
Do not select TF90335 only from the 18–8 AWG range. Send TONFUL the conductor count on each side, solid or stranded construction, insulation diameter, operating current, voltage and installation environment. Direct-burial, waterproof, IP and certification claims depend on model-specific documentation and the complete installed configuration.
Installation Sequence
- Isolate the circuit. Turn off power and verify that the circuit is de-energized.
- Position the sleeve first. Slide the heat-shrink sleeve onto the cable before stripping.
- Prepare the wire. Strip 5/8 in (15.9 mm) of insulation. Keep all conductor strands intact.
- Insert the conductors. Place the prepared copper conductors fully into the correct end of the brass lug.
- Tighten the set screws. Use the specified Allen key and the torque stated in the released TF90335 drawing. Do not estimate torque or overtighten.
- Recover the sleeve. Center the sleeve over the lug and heat it evenly with the approved tool until the required recovery and seal condition are achieved.
- Cool and inspect. Allow the assembly to cool without movement. Check conductor retention and sleeve coverage. Do not reuse the connector.
Installation note: The released TONFUL instruction must specify set-screw torque, heat-shrink ratio, full-recovery temperature, approved heating process and inspection criteria. Installation must comply with the rules applicable to the project location.
Packaging and RFQ Information
The reference package contains two connectors per bag and 25 two-piece bags per box, for 50 connectors in total. Confirm final carton dimensions, weight, MOQ, sample policy and production schedule in the quotation.
For an accurate recommendation, provide conductor sizes and counts, solid or stranded construction, voltage, maximum current, installation environment, destination-market requirements, order quantity and packaging needs.
Compatibility and Application Limits
Similar dimensions, appearance or wire range do not establish interchangeability with another manufacturer’s connector. Compatibility requires drawing comparison, conductor-fit verification, and applicable electrical, mechanical and environmental validation.
TF90335 is a TONFUL model. Third-party names or catalog numbers, when referenced during an evaluation, identify only the buyer’s comparison request and do not imply affiliation, endorsement, certification transfer or guaranteed drop-in compatibility.
Frequently Asked Questions
What wire sizes can TF90335 accept?
The reference range is 18–8 AWG for solid and stranded copper conductors. Ask TONFUL to confirm the exact combination, especially when more than one conductor enters either side.
What current can TF90335 carry?
The reference table lists 10 A at 18 AWG, 13 A at 16 AWG, 18 A at 14 AWG, and 25 A at 12, 10 and 8 AWG. Confirm the test conditions and complete assembly before use.
Is TF90335 suitable for direct burial?
Suitability depends on the exact construction, cable combination, installation method and environmental qualification. Request the applicable TONFUL documentation before specifying direct burial.
What torque and shrink temperature should be used?
Use only the torque, tool, heat-shrink ratio and installation temperature stated in the released TONFUL drawing and instruction sheet.
Can TF90335 be reused?
No. Use a new connector and sleeve when a connection must be remade.
